Hello, friends!
I’m Dr. Sibongile Mpongwana Ncetani, but you can call me Sibo. I’m a Christian psychiatrist, a mental health advocate, and someone who has personally witnessed and experienced the impact of mental health struggles—not just in my work, but in my own life, my family, and my community. I am the founder of Flourish With Sibo and The Flourish Community Podcast.
For over a decade, I have worked in mental health, walking alongside people as they navigate their struggles. Through my journey, I have seen how stigma, shame, and silence can make healing even harder—especially in faith-based spaces.
The spiritual realm exists, but not every mental health challenge is a spiritual attack.
Science and faith are not in opposition—we can embrace both for true healing.
Mental health affects us all, whether directly or through the people we love.
Every story matters, and no one should have to suffer in silence.
This platform is not just about professionals sharing insights—it’s about you. If you have a lived experience with mental health, we invite you to be part of this journey. Your story matters, and sharing it can be powerful in breaking stigma and offering hope to someone else.
And if you’re someone who loves deep, honest conversations, check out my podcast, The Flourish Community Podcast, which has been running since 2021. There, we share real stories, real struggles, and real hope—because mental health is about people, not just diagnoses.
If you have a story to share, or if you’ve been personally impacted by mental health, I’d love to hear from you.
